Thank you for using LEX Word Practice ("the App"). Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not handle.
Summary
LEX Word Practice does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All of your study data stays on your device or in your own private iCloud account.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following to us or any third party:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Account credentials or login information
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or analytics data
- Crash reports, usage statistics, or telemetry
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
The App does not use any third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, or analytics services.
Information Stored on Your Device and in Your iCloud
The App stores the following information locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, syncs it through your own private iCloud account:
- Your study progress, including words attempted, correctness, and review schedule
- Your deck selections, filters, and app preferences
- Your study session history
This information is stored under your own Apple ID in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the App Store Terms.
If you disable iCloud or sign out of your Apple ID, data will remain only on your local device.
Subscriptions and Purchases
LEX Word Practice offers in-app subscriptions and purchases handled entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. We do not process, receive, or store your payment information. All purchase data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy and the App Store Terms.
Children's Privacy
LEX Word Practice is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store any personal information, there is no data for us to access, modify, or delete on your behalf. You can delete all data stored by the App by deleting the App from your device and, if applicable, removing its data from iCloud in your device's Settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will also be communicated through the App.
